APRIL 15TH ERIC "BUSKER" NEWTON'S WILLYS WEEPERS
The busking legend returns with his very distinctive George Lewis derived style of jazz clarinet

Promises to be a honey of a concert! From Eddie Condon's Chicago school of early Dixieland to
the 1940s small combo swing of Johnny Hodges with Matt excelling on reeds and a great
supporting cast.
MAY 13TH BLYTHE BRIDGE HIGH SCHOOL JAZZ ORCHESTRA
The welcome return of a highly talented Staffordshire school orchestra continuing the Society's
proud tradition of supporting young jazz musicians. (A Stafford Music Festival Concert!)
MAY 20TH RED DRAGON JAZZMEN with RUTH FRITH
Popular, evergreen Welsh trumpeter John Everett returns with his very talented traditional
jazz band supported by some great vocals from Ruth Frith.
MAY 27TH SUSSEX JAZZ KINGS
An end-of-season *Special* concert featuring ace trumpeter Dave Stradwick and his all-star
band. Appearing in major jazz festivals both in the UK and abroad there will be New Orleans
